Program Management
Successful performance is directly linked to how well a company manages processes necessary to deliver the products required. We are committed to work with an integrated team approach - to include the customer- to produce an effective training product that meets our customer's requirements.
We have repeatedly demonstrated our ability to successfully manage and administer both large and small contracts and operations at multiple locations. To illustrate this, we are the only company to remain under contract for the Land Warrior Program throughout its several transitions; for more than eight years we have been the training lead, coordinating the efforts of up to six other companies and ten DoD agencies.
Omega's management experience, people, intellectual capital, tools, and dedication provide a road map for success.
Analysis
We have conducted many front-end analyses for a variety of programs. Through the process of front-end analysis, our team of experienced analysts identifies and defines the jobs and individual and collective tasks that new products and systems may impact. We apply proven scientific techniques to give decision-makers information needed to optimize their operations. Omega integrates its teams with professional backgrounds in military operations, engineering, business, behavioral psychology, operations research, and mathematics to ensure all areas of the issues are considered.
This broad range of experience helped us integrate the contributing analysis to the Army's Combat Helmet Study. Using expert judgment conferences and multiple criteria decision models, we utilized several models that helped provide the necessary information to Army decision-makers.
Our experience with training analysis has led us to streamline our process, allowing us to quickly create well-defined training objectives that fully meet the customer's requirements.
Logistics
Omega assists the customer in managing the processes and analyses of all Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements for combat acquisition systems. Our analysis team ensures that supportability considerations influence design, support, and fielding of combat systems within the lifecycle cost goals. Our ILS team reviews all supportability considerations (in accordance with AR 700-127) to influence the design of a system that can be effectively and economically supported. We integrate the customer into our approach to ensure a design that is both supportable and affordable. Our support of the Objective Individual Combat Weapon (OICW)/XM29 and Land Warrior programs significantly and positively influenced current designs of these weapon systems.
Omega has a successful history of performing Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) tasks and developing logistics management information in accordance with MIL-HDBK 502 and MIL-PRF-49506. We conducted extensive Level of Repair Analyses (LORA) on Army weapon systems (in accordance with the superseded MIL-STD 1388), including the Objective Individual Combat Weapon (OICW). Our analyses directly influenced the design of the follow-on XM29 weapon system.
Our expert analysis ensures combat systems under development meet the combat and materiel developer's requirements.
