To ensure that the Land Warrior – Stryker Interoperable (LW-SI) system is Soldier friendly and fightable, Omega conducts system level tests of the Soldier-equipment interface. Our personnel conduct Fightability Assessments (FA) of the LW system and design and evaluate Protective Clothing and Individual Equipment (PCIE) changes.

Our FAs evaluate how the LW-SI system impacts the Soldier. They look at tactical operations, Manpower and Personnel Integration (MANPRINT)/ Human Factors Engineering (HFE) concerns and issues, weapons subsystems and their impacts on the Soldier and lethality, and potential Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) derived from conducting these assessments. FA outcomes allow contractors and users to identify, track, and assess the system’s progress as it relates to the most important part – the Soldier.
