Paper-based Training / Instructional Aids

When used to support learning, instructional aids enhance a training program’s effectiveness. They incorporate a wide variety of presentation formats, including:
  • Field exercise simulations
  • Instructional charts
  • Overhead transparencies
  • Job aids and graphic training aids
  • Supporting materials, such as illustrations, line drawings, diagrams, art drawings, or photographs
  • PowerPoint presentations
  • Printed texts
  • Scenarios and simulations
  • Training devices
Omega prepares instructional aids that support and enhance instruction - rather than distract from the material. We use easy-to-understand graphics and text to stimulate memory recall, direct attention to key information, and heighten interest in the material.

We ensure our instructional aid visuals have realistic color, are clear and interesting, and illustrate the point to be learned. Our instructional images support the lesson’s premise and are designed to appeal to the student.

In this example, a virtual inventory and packing list is displayed for the LH41C Laser Rangefinder. By moving the cursor over an item, learners can see a visual example and description without having the actual equipment with them.
