11B / 11C BNCOC
Omega developed these distributed learning lessons for the Infantry School's 11B Infantryman
and 11C Mortarman Basic Non-Commissioned Officer Courses (BNCOC) courses. The purpose of BNCOC
is to train small unit leaders on the employment of weapons, equipment, and tactics, and to
prepare them for future leadership responsibilities.

11B ANCOC
As part of the Noncommissioned Officers Education System (NCOES), the 11B ANCOC distributed
learning course is intended for professional development and online refresher training. For
these lessons, Omega created realistic virtual environments and characters to convey
information. A virtual instructor guides the learner through a series of lessons with
interactive objects and backgrounds that enhance the learning experience.

Call For Fire (CFF)
To meet worldwide service training needs, Omega created a web-based Call For Fire (CFF)
training simulator. This training application simulates a Soldier’s ability to accurately
adjust indirect fire rounds onto a target as efficiently as possible. Omega’s web-based Adjust
Fire simulation has been run on Army Classroom workstations and can be delivered remotely over
the Internet.

Initial Entry Training (IET)
Omega supported the U.S. Army Accessions Command (USAAC), and the Warrior Training Center, by
developing materials to standardize the training of personnel who instruct Soldiers undergoing
IET. These materials include Programs of Instruction (POIs), lessons plans, and distributed
learning products designed to give Soldiers a common processing experience.

The Joint Air Exercise (JAEX)
The JAEX, an interactive training product, was developed as part of the Joint Staff Planning
course conducted at the Air Force’s Air Command and Staff College (ACSC). JAEX allows students
to practice airpower planning and execution concepts by planning and conducting simulated air
strikes on enemy targets. Students are given background information and various scenarios and
must effectively plan and execute simulated air strikes.

Land Warrior (LW)
Land Warrior integrates small arms with high-tech equipment to enhance soldiers’ capabilities.
Since the inception of the LW program, Omega has been the designated lead in training
development, including designing and developing distributed learning courseware to support
Land Warrior Operator and Leader training for Initial Operational Tests and Evaluation.

 |
Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) Primer
Developed for the USMC College of Continuing Education (CCE), the JTAC Primer focuses on the
basic skills required for JTACs to perform their duties in directing the action of combat
aircraft engaged in offensive operations. Among these skills are calling for indirect fire and
using aviation asset coordination and control in fire support roles.

Commercial Programs
Commercial programs include instruction on the operation of the LH41C Laser rangefinder,
developed for DRS Technologies, to teach Soldiers the proper procedures for operation of a
laser rangefinder. Omega developed a CD based course that was delivered with the rangefinder
and available to the customer upon arrival. The course covers everything from an overview of
the equipment, unpacking and setup to placing the system into operation.
