Information |
- Preferred: 2 year Associate Degree in electronics or related technical
field (BS Degree desirable/Experience Equivalent to Degree) with 2 years of recent
electrical/electronic industrial work experience;
- Minimum five (5) years of experience with electrical systems and /or
repair of electronic components. 3-5 years experience in computer networking.
- Self starter with a demonstrated ability to manage time effectively.
- Self-motivated, with a high standard of work ethic and a positive
attitude.
- Willing to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Will be required to work in compliance with OSHA safety policies and
procedures as appropriate.
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid state drivers license and
maintain post driving privileges.

Requirements |
Looking for an individual with the following requirements:
- Experience in diagnostics and repair of audio, video, fiber optics, signal switching
and routing.
- Experience and knowledge of, including but not limited to, electrical prints,
electronic schematics, AC and DC motors; use and interpretation of test equipment, solid
state components, high voltage and switch gear.
- Trouble shooting experience in both industrial electricity and solid state electronics
and fiber optics.
- Record Urban Training Exercises to digital recorders & DVD. Provide computer & Camera
video support during AARs, VIP Tours, Team Briefings, and Rotations.
- NCACP (National Craft Assessment and Certification Program) Accreditation is preferred
- Experience and proficiency in performing electrical wiring, component and assembly
installation and perform duties as a Team Member during “surge” periods or personnel
shortages.
- Must be able to left a minimum of 50 lbs and wear appropriate personal protective\
equipment as appropriate.
- Ability to perform duties in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wind and rain)
and at height (towers and phone poles).

Position
Description |
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair multiple integrated laser engagement system (Miles) and Simulated Area Weapons Effects-Radio Frequency (Sawe-RE) training devices using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers. Laser-specific test alignment devices, and Miles unique test equipment Repair Global Positioning Satellite receivers, UHF transmitters and receivers, maintain a PLEXUS UNIX bused multi-user computer network.
