Testers conduct requirements validations to ensure that new materiel, concepts, doctrine, or training meet stated requirements; to help customers choose between competing candidates; or to provide insight into concepts, requirements, and training development efforts.

Requirements validation includes MANPRINT (Manpower and Personnel Integration) assessments and analyses. For example, we conducted MANPRINT assessments and analyses on the lightweight machine gun to ensure that the weapon’s design and development fully addressed the Soldier’s requirements.
